2013 Tournament Dates - OUT

As many of you know the vast majority of our 2013 tournament dates are out.

The events in the region include:

May 31-June 2 (Northwood University 16U)
June 6-9 (Northwood University 18U)
June 6-9 (Kansas State University 16U)
June 13-16 (Northwood University 17U)
June 13-16 (Oral Roberts University 16U & 18U)
June 20-23 (Northwood University 16U)
June 20-23 (OK State University 17U)
June 20-23 (Texas State University 18U)
June 27-30 (Northwood University 15U & 18U)
July 4-7 (OK State University 16U)
July 4-7 (Arizona State University 17U)
July 11-14 (Northwood University 15U NATIONALS)
July 11-14 (Wichita State University 18U)
July 18-21 (Northwood University 18U NATIONALS)
July 18-21 (Wichita State University 16U)
July 18-21 (OK State University 15U)
July 25-28 (TCU/Northwood University 16U NATIONALS)
July 25-28 (Kansas State University 18U)

*Remember that we typically use several college venues and AirHogs Stadium during many/most of our Northwood University events.

**OK State is back to hosting enough games to get 24 teams a guaranteed game on the field! Must get registered and paid in full to get those spots though and I know they will go quick. Both semi's and championship will be hosted at stadium as well.

Just a quick response to some emails and messages regarding 2013 tournaments...

1 - Some of the TCU, Dallas Baptist and AirHogs Stadium events have been updated and finalized as registrations now filter in for the SW region.

2 - Oklahoma State events are back to "normal" after the coaching switch brought some strange scheduling in 2012. 24 teams will get guaranteed games on OSU's field each weekend once again. Remember OSU fills very fast and hotels are hard to come by in the immediate area so it'd be wise to get registered, paid, and contact our Hotel Director (Brandon Gessner) off our contact page to get your hotels finalized.

3 - Yes we are treating our Nationals in the Dallas area the same way we do in the Midwest/Great Lakes region. They are all 5 game guarantee events, feature fields are treated the same as usual so you must be one of the first teams to register and pay to get those spots, and the awards are very different than our typical tournament!

Touching base on the events in the SW region for 2013.  As registration begins to pick up for the events at Oklahoma State, TCU, DBU, Wichita State and the other venues please remember that your team must be paid in full to secure your spot on the feature fields for those events.  As you guys know there are a limited number of guaranteed feature field spots and they go quick.

 

OK State for example will get 16-24 teams on the field during pool play before the semi finals and championship games on Sunday.  You must be one of the first 16-24 teams to register AND pay in full to get confirmed and marked as paid for one of those slots.  Many of you have been to Stillwater in the past and understand how quick it fills once registrations start coming in...get registered early for these feature events so your guys can get on the feature fields.
