DII Action:

Plymouth defeats HB 3-0 and Goffstown blanks Portsmouth 3-0 as well. Goffstown's Tanner Putnam was electric tonight in the second game, throwing a one hit shutout. Congrats to Portsmouth on a strong tournament run without first team all state outfielder Mac Allen and #2 hitting Shortstop Lucas Hartmann(for the semifinal only). They showed a great amount of fight tonight, while lacking two very important players.

Saturday should be an exciting day for the NHIAA, and good luck to all participating teams.

Terrific baseball at Holman last night.
Game 1- well played game by the Astro's. They seemed to have a confidence from the get go & with their ace on the hill I can see why.  Gerossie was dominant. Alvirne was overmatched the entire game.
Astro's win 4-1

Game 2- was close for a couple innings. Rob Delsignore was as advertised. Bedford looked like nerves may have been an issue. Most of Londonderry's  runs we're unearned

Londonderry wins 6-0

Agreed.  Congratulations to Goffstown.  Tanner Putnam was lights out, and James Haslam was also very good for Portsmouth.  A two-out, two-strike, two-run triple by Goffstown's #9 hitter was the difference in the game.  Best of luck to all teams in all divisions on Championship Saturday.
