2014 USA Classic-USA Stadium-Millington, TN

We are looking for two teams to compete in the 22nd Annual USA Classic.  This tournament will include teams from states across the nation. It will be  held April 2nd - 5th, 2014 (Wednesday–Saturday).

The tournament’s  objective is to bring together the 16 most competitive teams and players  possible to one location. This will allow the college and professional scouts a  chance to see the best in the nation on one visit. It also gives each team a  chance to play against the best possible competition. Last year several major  league teams had a representative check in for the games as well as many major  Division 1 and 2 schools. There were five players from the 2013 USA Classic that  were drafted by Major League organizations.

Christian Brothers High  School and USA Stadium ( www.usabaseballstadium.com )are eager  to co-host such an effort. The USA Stadium and complex has been the national  training site for the U.S. Olympic baseball team. It has the most impressive  playing surface and amenities available for a non-professional facility. It will  be the highlight of any young player’s high school career. CBHS, recipient of  the BCA’s 2002 National Field of the Year Award, also has one of the finest  high school facilities you will see.

The tournament format is very  simple. Each team will be guaranteed four games, one each day. If you win, you  will continue to the winner’s bracket. If you lose, your remaining games are in  the loser’s bracket. Each team will have a final tournament finish (1st – 16th).  The champion will go 4–0 in this single elimination tournament.
