This is a great book, written by Buzz Bissenger, author of Friday Night Lights.
Buzz brings the revelatory intimacy of the game of baseball through the eyes of Tony Russa, as he manages the Cards in a 3 game Series with the Cubs in the 2002 season.

Parents, players and coaches will understand the "game" with a new perspective after reading this book.It is 5 stars.
