Funneldrills got it going on!!! Marcus could be the sleeper team!!

I think Marcus is for real...but I am more convince than ever that 6-5A is solid from top to bottom after the first 2 district games. It appears that it will be tough to get a win in this district no matter who you are playing.

The Marcus/SLC game was a super game. SLC led 2-0 going into bottom of the 4th. Marcus scored 2 in the 4th, 2 in the 5th and 1 in the 6th to pull away. You can tell FD has done a great job "coaching them up". That being said, I was surprised that he let his starter go all the way. I wasn't counting pitches, but it had to be in the neighborhood of 110. SLC just couldn't get the 2 out hit as 3 different innings ended with runners in scoring position: once with runners on 2nd and 3rd, and twice with the based loaded. Congrats FD...2-0 in the district.
