Abilene Wylie won their district and has dominated 3A baseball in that area for many years.
Breckenridge has a decent team, but many of their wins came against lesser competition.
Wylie has a Texas Tech signee on their team this year. Very solid program at the 3A level.
Canyon, Lubbock Cooper, A. Wylie, are all good baseball programs out in Region I.

3A-2A warmup game.
2A top 10 Holliday defeated 3A Vernon 18-7 tonight.

2A Holliday is a top 2A program. When they didn't advance to the state tournament last year it was their first time in 5-6 years they hadn't advanced to the state tournament. They had made it to state 5-6 years in a row.

Should be good series in Aledo (Argyle v. Breckenridge) and Mineral Wells (Decatur v. Clyde) this weekend.

What do you guys know about Kennedale? There record looks pretty solid and I have heard some good things about them.

Decatur crushes Clyde in first game, 15-0.
Graham beats Borger 10-3, Graham pitcher has 15 K's in that game.
West defeated FW Castleberry 4-3.

A bit of a shocker on this score...
Breckenridge 8 Argyle 7 in the first game.
Argyle has two errors in the 7th inning, and then Breckenridge hits a walk off single to win the game.

Argyle doubles up Breck on Saturday and advances to the area round.
Argyle vs. Canyon in Snyder for area series.
Burkburnett and Sanger will meet in the area round.
Burk swept Perryton in bi-district.

Sanger run rules Burk 15-2. Sanger advances.
Decatur plays Vernon tonight in Wichita Falls.
Lake Worth advances. They will face Frisco Wakeland next week.

Decatur beat Vernon 7-5.
Sanger(W 8-3A with a 12-2 D record) will face Decatur(T 8-3A with a 8-6 D record) in the
Regional Quarterfinal.
Sanger won both district games: 8-0 and 7-4. It's tough to beat the same team four times in one season. It should be interesting to see who represents 8-3A.
