Totally agree with that.

I assumed he was a lawyer given how well-versed he is at figuring out the rules. Has totalling carved out a niche for himself here and this recognition is well-deserved

This thread comes at a perfect time. I sent a PM to 3finger earlier this week asking some very specific questions pertaining to NCAA rules, which were not easy to find and interpret. He responded with a very detailed answer, outlining where in the rulebook these things were highlighted and how to go about my question. He also said I should call the NCAA to confirm all this, because he could be wrong.

This morning I called the NCAA office in Indianapolis and posed the same question to the lady on the phone. The answer I got was literally almost word for word exactly what 3finger had told me.

From everyone who has reached out for help with the very difficult NCAA rules, thanks 3finger!
Almost as amazing as how well he answers these tough questions is this:

His willingness to, with a completely friendly demeanor, answer questions he's answered before (some many times over).

On many forums I frequent posters asking questions that have been asked before without searching will usually not receive an answer, be bombarded with rude posts, and if the board supports it, be "negged."
