Heard from a source on each side that it was 9-8. DC was up at the top of 7 by 2 runs but let Hickory back in through (Keystone cop) errors. Score at the end of 7 was 6 to 6. No score in 8th. Hickory scored 2 in the top of 9 to make it 8 to 6. With two outs in the bottom of 9 and the score still 8 to 6, Corbett Casteen was walked, Mike Cole singled, Aaron Nardonne singled, knocking in 1 run, Cam Stewart's batted ball deflected off the pitcher's glove and Cam barely dove into first base in time to collect a single and knock in the tying run, and then Matt Barker singled up the middle to drive in the winning run. Goes to show that it ain't over until it is over.
