SLC wins 2-1 over Hebron. After 3 weeks of district home/away series, the Dragons have split each series with Marcus, Flower Mound and now Hebron.

Flower Mound wins 6-3 over Marcus.
SLC over Hebron 2-1.
Coppell over Lewisville 4-1.

This district continues to amaze me! The games are always close no matter who is playing. Coppell and Flower Mound are starting to separate from the pack. Should be a great series between the two teams next week!

Actually a 4/4 score...SLC rallies for 7 in the 7th to defeat Colleyville Heritage 8-7 Saturday afternoon at Dragon Stadium.

Goldberg was able to sneak by his summer slugging teammates at (Northwest/Keller). Not sure he will be so lucky next time.

I think the SLC/Colleyville game shows the strength of the 6-5A district. The 6-5A teams will be playoff ready by the end of the district season. I know SLC has played it's two toughest series and will add plenty more wins to the win column. The last week of district play is sure to be interesting! Best of luck to SLC and all the 6-5A teams!
