brenham P chase wellbrock signed with UH... threw 83.2 innings this year..pitched a ton last year as junior too.. brenham has 7 state titles and a reputation as well for running pitchers into the ground... remember jon peters... wellbrock isn't a power guy, throws strikes.. pitched in 4 games the last week of season.. couple in relief, including state semifinal of course (2 IP)... brenham plays good defense
So allIcanDoisBlog, you want to compare the number of Major League players from a town of 7,000 to all of north Texas? Yeah north Texas might win that one... great comparison... wanna compare any school in your "blogging" area with Brenham

What happens to them later? Over 500 played in college... 247 drafted over the years from Brenham... not bad for a small town...

Cubs that played in big leagues?
Cecil Cooper, Jack Heideman, Charles Machemehl, Ricky Seilheimer, Gary weiss, Jordan Zimmerman....

You have a school from Dallas that can top that?

Can you pick a Region I or Region II school that has been to State more than Brenham... better yet can you pick any school in the state that has??

Jon Peters? He got a free college education.

What ever happened to your Keith Creel?
Brenham kids who played college ball.

Don't have a dog in this fight but Keith pitched for UT and then in the majors for about 5 years. Don't understand the bash on Keith...
