WOW ---- IMAO I think ANY coach has to have talent to win consistently. Think about what is there and what is coming? How deep is their talent pool ??? That is how you know where you are going to stack up in the long haul. Just saying---frustration is usually the first loser.
WF Rider SP Cameron Allen (12-0) 3-hits Lubbock Frenship in GM1, winning 7-0. On 06/03, the Lubbock A-J reported Frenship HC stated Rider did not have a dominate pitcher on their roster, I guess they didn't scout Cam.... 6Ks, ZERO walks, facing 2 hitters over the minimum in a 76 (56 strikes) pitch complete game, where he threw 10 or fewer pitches in 4 innings.

They will most likely face Western OK State bound SP Reid Barnett in GM2. It's not going to get any easier.

Western OK State in juco d11 World Series?

I have been watching Allen and the kid has been the man. His only no decision was a 5-5 tie with Guyer and he ended up with the GWRBI in extras!

Somebody is going to get a player in 2011. He is with Blacksox in summer so check him out. He does not have the size or the body most D1 guys want...but check his heart.

Broke several school records at the plate too!

GED10 - Is Western Oklahoma State good?

I am not a fan of polls/lists, etc., but since you asked? Yes, they are good. They are ranked higer than Iowa Western, Crowder, Howard, Hutchinson, Temple, etc. W. OK State enters the DII World Series 53-5 with a #1 national ranking. They have posted 2 wins over Longview (2007 DII National Champs), 3 over New Mexico JC (2005 NJCAA DI National Champs & 2007 R/U),2 wins against Tyler JC (2008 DIII National Champs), and 2 wins against Seminole State (2009 NJCAA DI World Series). They were 19-1 in conference play and 7-0 in post season play.

Yes, lots of good opportunities to play college ball in the sunny southern region!!
