The limit of five visits is for the combined total of official visits to D1 and D2 schools. D3, Juco, and NAIA schools don't count in the five visit limitation.

13.6.2.2 Number of Official Visits—Prospective Student-Athlete Limitation. A prospective student-athlete may take a maximum of five expense-paid visits, with no more than one permitted to any single institution. This restriction applies regardless of the number of sports in which the prospective student-athlete is involved and only for expense-paid visits to Divisions I or II institutions.
13.6.2.3 explains that actually 10 visits are possible: a prospective student-athlete may be provided a maximum of 10 official visits— five while in high school and five beginning with the October 15 following the prospective student-athlete’s completion of high school. This presumably permits colleges to bring in potential JC transfers for official visits.
