Today the news of Henry Aaron's 715 HR.

My thoughts go back to November 1955, when our US 4th Army "All Stars" played the Willie Mays "Barnstorming" team with Henry Aaron.

My front row seat was at first base, 90 ft from the hitters.

When Aaron was at bat, I noticed that he was very relaxed and our Army pitcher from FT Bliss and a Pro player threw a "fastball" and his bat was propelled thru the strike zone with extreme efficiency.

The ball quickly disappeared over the light tower in Left Field.

"Thanks for the memory, Henry"

Bob
