Marcus wins today 10-0 for the sweep over Odessa to move on! M. Gill gets the win for Marcus and a HR to boot.
El Paso Soccoro wins 3-1 over FMHS for the Sweep. El Paso moves forward.
CONGRATS to Funneldrill and the team. In the 23 year history of the Marcus program the team had never gotten past the regional 1/4 final, they now get to add regional 1/4 final and with the sweep today regional semi-final.
Now on to the Regional Final with El Paso Soccoro.
I am so proud of what this team has done this year and how they have accomplished it.
Coach Senato (Funneldrill) is true to who he is on these boards as a poster and as a coach. My only regret is that I no longer have a son in the program to benefit/learn and be coached by him.
