1. FM
2. SL
3. Coppell
4. Hebron
5. Marcus
6. Lws

BTW - Longballs let's hear your predictions.

Marcus at 5 seems a stretch. Granted they did lose players, but they are returning at least one very talented pitcher. Not sure about the bats. Very well coached.

FM, SL, and Hebron should have solid pitching that will keep their team in the game. I don't know a lot about what Coppell and Lewisville have this year.

Frank - after reading many of your posts being called a "moron" by you is indeed a compliment.

Obviously FranktheTank is a player, because no human being in their right mind would put Lewisville up for district champs. I mean come on, whens the last time they were good at football? Second, your coach comes from the dinasaur era so i'll stop with that.

My prediction is this:
1) SLC- they have excellent pitching and hitting throwout the lineup and in the bullpen
2)FM- they have a few good arms, and a few bats, their fate depends on the rest of the order
3)Marcus- With Gill returning they have an extremely reliable ace along with bat and glove. If Boyd cut down on the strikeouts he would be a force in the heart of the order, they have good defense their biggest question is if the bats are hot
4)Coppell- with the loss of all the "stars" they had last year, Coppell is the biggest question mark in my brain, because they have too many unproven players, but they never fail to have a good team.
5) Hebron- there isnt much you can say about hebron. they do have lots of heart though, and some talented pitchers.
6) Lewisville- well, i think everyone knows about lewisville.
With no dog in the fight and someone just watching from the stands, in my opinion, Franky is just a high school student and possible player who is letting his testosterone get the better part of him.
I would also surmise that he may be struggling in school and consider paying a little more attention in class if his postings here are any indication.

Without naming any names, I don't think I would be going out on a limb in stating that a few more here have graduated, but probably didn't do it with flying colors and are having a hard time growing up.

Good luck to all you 6-5A participants and just be thankful it's not in the field of "class".

Judging from the language, I thought it was one of the Moms from "Toddler's and Tiara's". Figured she'd go away when the Kiddie Pageant season started up again.
Now that the teams are actually on the fields practicing, I'll take a "swag" at the results in this district:

1) FM
2) Southlake
3) FM Marcus
4) Coppell
5) Hebron
6) Lewisville

I do believe that the top three could change places but with the talent that returns at the key positions, the playoff successes they've had and having to play each other three times will prepare all of these teams for their respective playoff runs. JMHO
Wow, it took three attemps before I could remember my password.

Coppell graduated so many seniors that you would think that they would have a down year...but actually Coach English played the under classman a fair amount last year and I think he will have them ready to compete.

I like Swinton, Toth, and Abbott as a good core and keep an eye out of Hunter Boyle on the mound.

The pitching looks good and I am looking forward to watching the Cowboys play while not worrying about watching my own son play.

Lewisville did seem to have some young plays last year so they could surprise some of the folks here.

I'll go with:
1.SC
2.Coppell
3. FM
4.Marcus
5. Hebron
6.Lewisville.
