Holy crap: I wasn't too far off when I said the first run may be scored in the 12 inning.

The Centreville/Chantilly game was another thriller. It went 9, and Jared DiCesare had a walk off with bases loaded, not to mention that he pitched 4-5 innings in relief (that really isn't relief).

Any indication as to who will pitch for Chantilly tomorrow in the title? I don't know their roster as well as some teams in the area.

Madison beats Chantilly 9-0 to win the 6A North Championship. Matt Favero threw 6 shutout innings and Pete Nielson closes it out in the 7th. Nielson hit a solo homer, Favero hit a 3 run shot and Jimmy Goldsmith hit a 2 rib double. Good defense all over the field from Madison tonight. A 5 run third really deflated Chantilly
