Loudoun Valley 1, Woodgrove 0
- Will Reed with YET ANOTHER CG shut out, 1 hitter vs. Woodgrove...2nd time in less than a week that he shut out a solid Woodgrove team.
- Valley wins Dulles District (10-2) for pride only and also gets #1 seed in Conference 28 (3A) heading into playoffs.
- Valley finished fine regular season with 17-3 record overall, including 11 shutouts and team ERA below 1.00.
William Monroe is #2 seed, I believe, but 3A East C28 playoffs don't start until next week!

C7 - 6a North (old Patriot District) Final
West Potomac 5 @ West Springfield 8
I saw most of the West. Springfield and West Potomac game last (no dog in the fight) but missed WS's bottom of 1st with 5 runs. They became scarce after that. Both teams played well and hit the ball hard. Highlights were WS stealing home and WP's Sara crushing a no doubt 2 run HR to LF.

Congrats to the Cougars. They seem to be getting hot at just the right time.
Indeed, very well-played game on both sides, especially the starting pitchers (Lopez & Margarida). RF for Chantilly narrowly missed making that catch on Christy's slicing line drive. All-conference ceremony was a great way to start the action. Regional tournament should be very fun.
