- Hopeck vs Reed on mound. Both impressed and battled hard. Other than one key miscue by each side, well played. Hopeck escaped bases loaded, no out jam.

Loudoun Valley / Potomac Falls game ended on a "walk off balk" (don't see that every day!) with 2 outs, men on 1st and 3rd. Rough way to end it for a kid who battled hard after allowing 5 runs in the first (almost had to pull him). Tip of the cap to him.
Congrats to Corey and to Coach Burch, who toiled all those years in youth baseball in support of his son.
