I would have figured someone would have started the 9-4A section by now, guess those guys retired after their son's graduated.......... What's the buzz so far??

Liberty HS 7 Carrolton Creekview - 1 - Hayden Parker WP
Richland Hill's 10 - The Colony 2 - heard that TC went thru a number of pitchers.
I believe that Richland and The Colony was still a scrimmage.

The Prosper/RC game was a great one. Gilson went 7 complete for Prosper, allowing only 2 hits and striking out 12. Jordan threw all 6 for Royse City, allowing only 1 hit and striking out 8. The lone run was unearned, coming off of a fielding error in the 3rd. Both pitchers were a treat to watch. Would have been great to be on the winning side, but so it goes. Great Game!
I personally play catcher for Prosper. I can tell you this is easily the hardest/most competitve 4a district in the state. Wakeland doesn't have much pitching but they've put up double digit runs in 3 of 5 district games. We're scheduled to have Gilson on the mound next go around which should change up the outcome a bit.

All of the teams are beating each other up and no one has really proven to be the best team. Although Liberty is undefeated they have yet to play Prosper or Wakeland... highly unlikely they stay undefeated through that in my opinion.

I agree... my son plays for Heritage. It's going to be a great fight to the finish to see who makes the post season.
Prosper beat Liberty tonight 9-0... thinkin' we're hitting a hott streak we'll see how it plays out over the next few games
