Catcher's Thumb

Try a local physical therapist sports injury type guy. They made one for my son, he was done in 20 minutes and it cost $7. Looks very similar to the Catcher's Thumb in the post above.

Homerun04 provided the link to the product but the Catcher's Thumb was reviewed in a recent issue of Collegiate Baseball. Collegiate Baseball provides an article about new and innovative equipment showcased at the coaches convention in January(?). I wasn't able to find the article online but if memory serves me correctly they talked about using it for protection after the thumb has been injured and as a preventative device. I've been wanting to order it for my 2012 catcher but haven't gotten to it yet. Does anyone have any experience with it?

Milt...If your son is a catcher don't wait to order.
After doing some research,thumb issues are common amoung catchers.Think of it as a preventive measure.
