Does anyone have any idea where to get a kind of thumb(glove hand) protection for a catcher?
My son has been using a new glove and it feels completely different than his last glove when he receives the ball, less protected and much harder on thumb area.(He said he has broken it in pretty good)We tried the palm glove , but it didn't work for my son. Someone mentioned awhile ago, they do have specific thumb protetion for catchers.Any help would be great.

Homerun04 provided the link to the product but the Catcher's Thumb was reviewed in a recent issue of Collegiate Baseball. Collegiate Baseball provides an article about new and innovative equipment showcased at the coaches convention in January(?). I wasn't able to find the article online but if memory serves me correctly they talked about using it for protection after the thumb has been injured and as a preventative device. I've been wanting to order it for my 2012 catcher but haven't gotten to it yet. Does anyone have any experience with it?
