A college essay on the lessons that high school sports can teach

This is only tangentially about baseball - it is more about what sports can teach and mean to a high schooler.

My son wrote this essay for a college class. I thought some of you might enjoy it. To me, it speaks to the lessons and values sports can teach to a kid.

That was a great essay.I love where you live,have been a few times passing through.

I believe my son played with a teamamte of your sons this summer.Son really enjoyed him and they became friends this summer.

Excellent essay! I enjoyed every bit of it. I never played HS Football, but I could feel the passion and the drive, as well as the life lessons come alive though the words.
