A HS coaching legend passes

Not a baseball coach, but Charlie Wedemeyer is a legend in the San Francisco Bay Area. No one has been better for HS sports over the past 35 years than Charlie. There was a 'made-for-TV' movie about him 10-15 years ago.

'Lou Gehrig's Disease' got him...over 30 years after the diagnosis. To this day the local HS football all star game is played in his name. HS sports needs more Charlies.
