After inquiring from mlb scouts, surprising teams do not test for steriod use on potential 1 st rounders before the draft. Meaning a player could use steriods, collect his bonus and later fail the minor league drug test after he signs and still receive his bonus.
But if he tested positive for any other drugs( than steriods) before he signed his contract, his contract would be voided
