Say it isn't so....

A Civil War right here in the great state of Texas?

I would love to see more Houston websters posting on here....those of us in the North need more info on the
Southern teams....both HS and summer. I encourage you all to grow and post more....we need the variety and diversity so pass on the website info to your friends and teammates and let's grow the representation from the south.

Seriously, I hope you all feel welcome to post here, we enjoy following your teams too.

Lets take it one step further...

Lets have a DBAT section and then an "everyone else" section once they split the state into North and South...

The DBAT guys could chat amongst themselves in their own lil space...

The "everyone else" guys could have our own space for our commentary... Wink

Awwww....c'mon Shayne. Why change a good thing?

Indeed cs, I can't ban anyone -- not that I'd do that anyway....I'm a nice guy, remember? Smile

catcher -- you post twice a year and you have to bring up your 2nd favorite organization? -- okok, there's a tie for 2nd. Big Grin Besides, when is the last time you included actual "commnentary"? If I recall, your posts are usually limited to announcements. We welcome your commentary!

I too welcome posters from Houston and South Texas.

After our conversation on Friday as I cheered your Marshals 18U team; what loyalty you are showing to your friends. Did I say anything about you having that DBAT t-shirt under the Marshal's jersey on Friday?

Just a thought.
Thank you in advance.

True but if you would tell all your friends about the site, have them register and post then you too could dominate the boards!!

I have an idea. We will trade you guys in the south. You can dominate the board here if you let us dominate the state championships for a change.
sluggo,
why don't you contact leftydad, kevin in missouri city, gloveman, Jouston 5A Baseball, and a few other & join in THIS, THE TEXAS forum? Why "segregate" the State?
We enjoy hearing about the Southern kids. I frequent the H5ABB boards, just to see who's doing what down there...
Sluggo,
I would vote no. I like covering the whole state in one forum. Either way, why do south Texas members need their own forum if they are not active? You can always start threads about south Texas baseball in this forum and maybe it would encourage them to join in. Spread the word locally and recruit new members. South Texas baseball is alive and well, but you are correct. It is not always as well represented here.

Collikar, if I was a betting mama, I would wager y'all are headed to the South Texas Sliders Invitational. My son's 18U team will be in Houston this weekend or I would be there to greet you! Have a blast in the Alamo City and enjoy a margarita on the Riverwalk!

Infield08,

You are correct, collikar and young'un are headed to the Alamo City for the Sliders tourney.
That was funny PD. I personally think the dry heat IS different from the humid heat and prefer the dry. However, they're both pretty darn HOT!!!!

11's good luck; look up Infield and say hello for all of us. Don't want the South thinking the North is anti-social. LOL

I've also found that Dave and Buster's in Houston (like Dallas) provides a COOL, refreshing, place to drink, I mean.. atmosphere after a hot day in the sun.
