With the impending new regulations for Division I I think the HS player has to now really buckle down going into his college freshman year---there no longer any "free" rides"

Players need to come into school as a frosh in tip top shape; know what the rules are obey them; watch every step he makes on and off the campus.

The era of "sliding" is no longer----grades. actions and talent are what count now

good points TR. had meeting with coaches last week and they pretty much told son the same things. they told son that if he got into any type of trouble at all thats an automatic 25 miles 1st offense. thats even though he is still a HS senior. 2nd offense = 50 miles. 3rd offense = off the team. they were straight and to the point with this. we all appreciated that.
