One of the first rules of marketing is to know your target audience....
My son is on the recruiting mail list for Pepperdine. A few months ago they started sending, one at a time, letters counting down the top "15 reasons to go to Pepperdine."
He just received #5. It read, simply:
Pepperdine student population: 65% female, 35% male.
They sure know who their customer is!
