Great game...well, I should say a nailbiter.

Nick Fleece and Trent Appleby both pitched great games.

Both teams had 3 errors and DBat had 1 hit and the Marshals had 4. (As far as my memory allows me to remember)

10:00 am at TCU, DBat vs. The Mustangs. Rumor has it that Chase Reid made it back into town today and will throw for the Stangs in the morning.

Both Fleece and Appleby pitched very well. Lot of errors for both sides but our kids came through in the end.

Bobby Bundy from Oklahoma pitched a gem in the 4-0 win over Bill Hood.

After that last one it's off to bed.........

Saturday should be a great day of baseball at TCU. Both teams played well in the first game. Whatever the outcome, a very good team will be going to Farmington to represent North Texas.

Congratulations to Nick Fleece on pitching a stellar game against the Marshals. I guess pitching is just like riding a bike (for Nick at least.)

I heard the Mustangs will likely have Chase Reid on the bump this morning. What pitcher is DBAT going with this morning?

My guess is Chad Bettis or Trent Montgomery. Adam Boydston is ready as well.

Reid pitched -- he's back from Vanderbilt.

OP - it was Trent Montgomery but he just got pulled for an unknown lefty wearing #13 --- Mustangs have runners at 1st and 3rd with two outs - top of their order up. 6-4 bottom of the 6th.

Montgomery relieved Boydston, their guest pitcher relieved Montgomery. Farhat up with 2 on 2 out in the 6th...............got him out (mixed emotions for PatherDad ) ------ heading to the 7th.

#13 played with the Patriots

Taylor Nicholson is the lefty's name --- he struck out Farhat to end the inning - headed to the 7th.
