Hello Everyone

I hope the summer is going well

We start the AABC Tournamnet next Thursday. The first round is local, second is in Battle Creek Michigan and the finals are in Texas

Every year when we go to a tournament we always add a few players to get a little more depth for the tourney.

This year we are looking to add an arm or two and a catcher. In years past we have picked up players whose summer schedule finishes early or are back from other leagues

Today is (maybe) the last day of the AABC State Tournament at Oswego HS. I sy maybe because its a double elimination tourney and there may be a game played for the championship tomorrow night

There are 4 teams left

12:00 NW Phillies (2-1) vs Oswego Cats (2-1)

2:30 Melrose Indians (3-0) vs WEstmont Red Sox (2-1)

There will be games at 5:00 and 7:30 but it all depends on what happens in the first 2

Just wanted to send a quick AABC Update

The Melrose Indians defeated The Saginaw Heck's 2-1 in 11 Innings. Ryan Schiever (SIUE) hit a walk off home run in the bottom of the 11th with 2 outs. Mike Martin (EIU) picked up the win throwing 4 innings of shut out relief

The Lombard Orioles defeated Battle Creek 9-0 Mike Rekia tossed a no-hitter

The Indians take on the Lombard Orioes tonight at 6:15 in Battle Creek
