I recently returned from the AAU Jr. Olympics in New Orleans where they had the 16U baseball tournament. The East Cobb Astros won it all. The New Orleans baseball committee did a fantastic job considering the rain that we had every day and putting up with the Tri-State Arsenal players,coaches and fans. Sportsmanship the Arsenal don't know what the word means. Coaches having pitchers throw at batters, players cursing and arguing with umpires, parents yelling out abusive and vulgar comments. One that comes to mind is "our umpire yesterday conveniently had a HEART ATTACK". They were so ugly that site tournament officials didn't want them back at their sites. Not one opposing team or any other team that was entered in the tournament could stand them. They were a disgrace to the game of baseball and most of all to the great State of New Jersey of whom I am a native of. I challenge the Tri-State Arsenal to play in the 2006 WWBA/17U Tournament in Marietta, Ga. Tri-State Arsenal JUST SHUT UP!!!!

Yep we were down in Iowa last year too and I do remember them being quite the "Class Act" Roll Eyes

Must have been the swamp water in Nawlins. Had to witness the Doyle Baseball vs RAW Skills drama. All (6) coaches were tossed, all fans had to be escorted out of the stands, players dropping f-bombs, etc...

When they resumed the game the next day, they picked up where they left off.

All this in the Consolation Pool play. FUN!

This is why every1 is saying stuff about the arsenal in a 1/4 final game they were down 7-2 tot he east cobb raiders and in the 5th they came back to a 7-5 score and had all the momintuim on there side and then the umpires call the game because of a time limit when there was none so every1 was yellin that there was no time limit and of corse the other team isent goin to say anything so after awhile we just left and like an hour later we get a call that there was no time limit and then we had to goto a different field and pick the game up from the bottom of the 6th and we scored a run in the top of the 7th but after we went back to the hotel every thing we had goin for us in the 5th wasent there any more and then we had to go to a different field

wanaplay, 4-2 on 4 hits. Their program sucks as far as I'm concerned.

arsenal222, this is what I'm talking about. Yelling, exactly what you said, as soon as things don't go your way you and your fans start yelling at everyone. That's not how you play this game. It ended up going your way so what are you complaining about? You played 7 innings like everyone else and you lost. Take it like a man.
