I understand what you are saying. I had made that assumption well before I had looked into US schools, so I do agree with you. It's because of this that I really want to make sure I find a school not only giving me a good opportunity to play ball, but also that will give me a degree that I will be able to do something with.

I know the larger schools, for example Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, have some of the top academics (excluding Ivy League), but I do know the limitations on my athletic abilities. This is why I am trying to find a good balance between the two.

Basically if you have your degree it matters not where you got it unless you are striving to build on a IVY type legacy
