For his last college season, I wanted to give my son a special gift. I searched the internet high and low, but could not find anything that would carry a special meaning that he did not already have.
So I decided to make him an Academic/Athletic Planner that he could record his last collegiate season in. I found an excel program for a daily planner on the internet. I modified it to create something unique with his school colors, added all his scheduled games, graduation date, spring break dates (that ball players don't get), and added a days to opening day field/days to next game field and added a quote of the day field. I created a cover with his school logo and had that laminated. I included fields for strength training, nutrition and a to do list. The excel program automatically moves the dates forward and brings in the next 7 day schedule.

I gave it to him spiral bound and he said I should go into business making them for other college sports teams, like I would have the time (it took a couple days to create, but a smarter excel using person could shave time off that, I am sure.)
