The ACC could get the top 8 in. The SEC will likely get 8, as they usually do. The ACC is the second ranked conference in RPI, .002 behind the SEC. We shall see.

I was at the UVA-FSU game and FSU just didn't want to swing the bat, they took more pitches than i have seen in quite some time. UVA was more aggressive at the plate and on the base paths and deserved the win.

The RPI, rating persentage Index is a factor in deciding which teams wili receive super regional and regional placement.
A committe will decide the final field and announce on teh 28th (I think). The decision is based upon wins, conference champs (for some divisions) rpi, sos (and a few other thngs). And last but not least is the human factor, who has been playing well over the past month.
