Has anyone used the Akadema Xtension Catapult??? If so what did you think about it?

already got them, thanks. not the big names like tpx or easton, but my kids seem to like the counterbalance in the handle.
turnin2, how is it going? We've used the Akadema wooden composite bats for cage work. Of course, we go through composite bats like we change underwear. (or is that like we are supposed to ...?) One piece of advice for everyone, "Remember it's not the arrow, it's the Indian." (In these times of political correctness, can I type that?)
hey coach. doing well, counting down until baseball finally starts, we start jan 29 down here. i was looking into these bats because i had talked to a person that used them, wanted to see what anyone else may have thought. how are you?
We are about to have a rain/ice/sleet/snow storm. 6 inches of snow is predicted over the ice. However, our weather people are never right.
I haven't seen the Extension Bats. We use the gloves and I love them. We use the batting gloves and again, I love them. The catching mitts for both baseball and softball are top notch! I'd bet that the bats hold their own. We use the composite bats but no composite bat made by man can withstand my teams. We literally go through a dozen a year. I have 5 composite bats at home in my garage that I have to throw away since we've worn them out. Coach, something to think about if you aren't already in the program (we are) is to join the Akadema school program. It can save you a lot of money. JMHO!

Glove Man, YOU BET! Haven't seen you on here much. Our loss! Hey, you just picked up some guy that is supposed to lead your team to the promise land. Good luck with that. I just talked to one of my buddies with the St. Louis Cardinals and don't be surprised if we make a signing/trade in a day or two that will make some noise. However, my buddy always says that! LOL!

we got the program this year, have loved their gloves for a while, never used their aluminum sticks. they have a counter weight in the bottom, sure feel good! much more balance and not so end heavy.
My son's college team uses Akadema bats and the players don't seem to like them. Most guys still purchase their own Eastons. On the plus side, their customer service is excellent and they are very good about replacing warranty items.
this is the 1st negative i have heard on them, what don't they "like?"
I am also interested in the akademas since they ARE NOT end loaded....BUT it looks as if the metal they use is definately yesteryears alloys.
I sent two down to my son on Monday. He likes the Sam bats and sometimes swimgs the Akademas.
my kids are crazy about them!! they have good feel and pop and the kids feel the difference with the counterweight!
