It's a good question. I've followed the program and the conference over the last several years and it seems to be Kent State and then everyone else. The reason Kent State seems to win on a consistent basis is they are attracting top-level pitching - in some cases major league caliber pitching and I don't see anyone else in the MAC doing that.

If this new coach can attract better players, then they might be able to challenge Kent someday. It will take several years for that to happen however imho.

Didn't realize that is who you were talking about. That sounds like a good hire and someone who can argue to a recruit that they know how to compete with the likes of KSU.

You may want to send a PM to Midlo Dad as I believe his son was recruited by Coach Rembielek at Wake Forest.
