I’m confused, are you a player as your biography and some of your posts indicates or are you a parent as some of your posts indicate???
Besides if you were being recruited by UF in 2007 how could you still be in the recruiting game 3 years later?

Hi to all. I am a 2008 utility man from Miami, Fl. I'm interested in a 17 or preferably 18 u --- posted 2007

My son is being recruited by the University of Florida. Both of us really want him to attend this school.-- posted 2007

Does anyone know the best way of contacting the baseball coaches of the Hurricanes? My son is very interested in going. --- posted 2007

Biography: baseball player

So lay it on the line are you a player or a parent? Are you playing college ball or did you fail to graduate high school in 2008?

I had noticed in one of the posts a while back (and commented) that it seemed like 2 people were posting.
If you asked a while back and now asking again, I am assuming that you (or your player) went to JUCO and now looking at D1 programs all over again.
I agree with YGD, time to begin your own homework on these programs you have listed above, if you need any specific info, send a pm. I don't mind giving advice, but I am not going to put in time that the player (or parent) needs to put in on their own.
have your son write down the colleges of his choice on a pieces of paper, throw them in a hat, shake it up a bit, and have him reach in and pick one out with out looking.

All these college play at the highest level of baseball! I honestly wouldn't care for "what the college offers" or how pretty the flowers are on campus. It's already a given that these colleges offer everything a student athletes need... and then some. He'll be taken care of very well.

What your son needs to consider is where he can play right away.

it used to be my sons account and something serious happened to him and need to do some of the work for him since he is unable....but forget it that i asked....YoungGunDad thanks captain obvious

Sorry to hear about your son. Please accept my apology. Internet communications leave a lot to be desired and when one is left to fill in the blanks as in this case it leaves a lot more to be desired. I think you will find the HSBBW very understanding to your request for information. My son was heavily recruited by the current head coach at Alabama (Mitch Gaspard) when he was the recruiting coordinator there. My son and I were very impressed with him during that time but Coach Gaspard left Alabama and went to Northwestern State in Louisiana.

Clemson? I will defer to TPM
My son was recruited by both schools and I have nothing but wonderful remarks for both programs and their academics. Coach Legget and now Coach Gaspard,at Alabama, and their respective staffs are very energetic and professional. He chose Alabama because it seemed to be the best fit for him. I personally think you can't go wrong at either program if your son is ready mentally and physically because the conditioning and mental preparation is brutal.
alg, you asked about any info on these schools and websites. I simply pointed you in the only direction I knew. Most people nowadays will spend a little time looking thmselves without coming on here and asking us to do the work for them. The schools baseball site typically will give you the coaches bio's and you'll learn all you'll need to know.

If you are an adult, then I don't think you would've gotten so bent out of shape by any of these responses. Lighten up.

So what are the facts? I'd like to see you answer fungo's questions before you waste any more of our time.
I must point out that alg did not "waste" anyone's time simply because there is no requirement here to read or respond to any post.

I thought he asked a reasonable question. If my son were interested in either school, I would welcome the kind of insight alg seeks. If I had any experience with either school, I would be happy to provide the information. If he had asked about Virginia Tech, I would have provided lots of information and been happy to do it (in fact, alg, if your son is a good player, I would encourage him to consider the Hokies. They could use the help.)

It strikes me as really odd when people get bent out of shape by questions that are inherently inoffensive and have absolutely nothing to do with them.

Touche jemaz....Thank you for proving that point!

If you'll notice, my very first post to this individual was trying to point them in the right direction...nothing more, nothing less. This same individual wants to come back blasting me by name calling..?? If we're being adults here, I think that's a little uncalled for. I'm all for helping people here on HSBBW but there are times when people do in fact need to learn to help themselves. And I still believe that something isn't right when this person has to resort to name calling and insulting. Apparently I'm not alone in this thought process.

If you go back and do a search you will see that whoever is alg has asked about and received some info before on how to do search for info regarding programs. And previously asked about Alabama.
What "inside info" is the person seeking? Why not state that in the inquiry? And FWIW, who is going to take someone's word on "inside info" anyway, as most likely it will be biased and slanted from a particular point of view.

I have offered on several occassions that alg send a pm for questions they have.

I don't care if it is a player or a parent, there comes a time, unless you are specific, when you have to take care of business yourself.

JMO.
