I think for PA you have to include Davis and Daniels Kellam Moynihan, Bayside Jenkins, as for Tallwood Lamb is the only one I can think of but I have only seen them play 1 time.
Kyle Morrison, 2B-Kellam is having a break-out season for the Knights. I have seen the entire Beach District now and IMHO Kyle is by far the number one second baseman. Kyle is hitting .421 with an On Base % around .600. Defensively, Kyle is a great SS playing @ 2b this season and has played errorless ball to this point ! Kyle should be the Beach Coach's first team second baseman this year !!!

GR- I dont know about Stone or Bassnight. It should be Hartley and Bryson. Hartley is leading the team in every offensive catigory while hitting a little over .600 as a sophmore as well as solid defense behind the plate and giving good outings on the mound. Bryson has all the wins for the team and solid showings for the losses he took. The team has 3 hitters and thats it. No offensive support and you get all the 1 and 2 run losses that they have. I dont know that there is a better catcher at the beach then the Hartley kid. He ranks right there with the top and he's young.

You are probably right about the Kellam 2nd baseman. But I would say he won't get it because there will be too many others from Kellam...Just a guess.
No problem putting 3 Knights in the All Beach infield, but there is alot of baseball left and more upsets will happen. But do you put McCabe from Cox at 1st, DH, or pitcher? I think Faison from Landstown is Utilty, Jenkings from Bayside is my pick for DH, I think Livers from F.C edges several at others at catcher cause he has picked off/ thrown out quite a few runners this year. Frizzell from F.C should make it as an OF, And Blankenship from Lanstown for OF. Sinnan from kellam and McCabe from Cox are 2 strong candidates as pitchers, but I have quite a few that have done well pitching, Danielson from P.A, Shorte, Frizzell and Rienerth from F.C, alot of baseball left, How is the Lamb kid from Tallwood doing, he's pretty good. Not sure who to put at 3rd base. I still see a few "huh" upsets,
redbird you are accurate! Once the scouting report/coaches picked up on how good Livers is, many did stop their running game. Can't take away from the pitchers holding runners and times to the plate too!

Might be due to the fact that runners don't attempt stolen bases on other catchers.

Why anybody would react/respond to buckstone is beyond me. FC catcher is good, best? I don't know, Salem catcher hasn't played catcher most of the season and kellam senior catcher has looked awesome at times but sketchy a lot as well. Green run kid is good but only a soph and not at the level of kellam, Salem, or fc catchers. His time will come though just not this year

With 4 HRs this season and playing time at RF and 1st Base (besides his 5-0 maybe 5-1 record pitching) maybe one of you beach folks can give an honest estimate about his batting average but I think McCabe has to be a solid contender for utility player recognition for the beach district.
Lots of good players mentioned for potential all beach district team. Some great players putting up great numbers. Hopefully those that vote on it get it right and recognize the players that are producing and not just the ones who have had success in the past. Last year a player was put on the team in a position in which he never started a single game and had very little playing time. He wasn’t the most deserving, just one of the past successes.

The coaches select the team at the end of the regular season. And you are 100% correct, this is just speculation. Lots of names mentioned that are simply names people know but their performance to date doesn't justify being picked as all-beach. Of course I can't support that statement for fear of being crucified as a kid basher. Smile Each year has a "snub" like any other all-star type team. Sure this year will be no different.

I would say McCabe is possibly in the running for POY, just my opinion and I would figure him to have a better chance or opportunity as a pitcher or outfielder. When I think utility player I think more of a player like landstowns Faison, he could probably play all 9 positions and be solid. again, these are just one old mans opinions.

I agree with playright about McCabe, he is my POY to date, I mentioned McCabe at 3 positions he could possible win, no way was I taking anything away from him, so us Beach folks were giving McCabe is due, so O.K, Ill add him to utility too, so my question is, Can an all Beach player get picked for 2 positions?

They did last year and you commented on it.
