Was it necessary to disparage the achievements of high school players in a public forum, by name, while you are offered the comfort of anonymity?

I think your post was uncalled for and any beef you might have with the Massaponax baseball program could have been handled in a more professional and generic way. My two cents.

Every year there is a disappointed parent or kid that likes to slam the deserving kids of their glory, they need to move on!

All 8 coaches had a hand in the selection of this list and I'm sure that any of these names wouldn't have come up unless the kids made an impression on their play this year. We are here to talk, ask for guidance help and cheer on each other's kids through this short section of their life. Me personally, I think EVERY kid on this list is WELL deserving of their awards, congrats to them all!!!

I am the parent of one of the kids mentioned by klinemustgo.I can tell by his user name that he does not like kline but what does that have to do with the kids.Kline nor the kids vote for their own players.This post was obviously done by a parent who thought his kid was slighted in the process of selecting the all district teams.To make these statements calling out kids while remaining annonomous is totally cowardly and unprofessional.We were the forth place team in the district so I would think more than one person one be recognized in these selections.While Tubbs had a year where he deserved every accolade has gotten and I am sure he will receive more with all area and all region selections etc. coming,He did have some help. None... and I would ban the poster to boot (I run a discussion board that addresses national defense issues so I have some background in such things).

It disgusts me to see this forum used to bash players. All the players that have been recognized should be proud of this achievement. I have watched many of these players since they were 10 or 11 years old and seen how hard they have worked and improved.
While I do not personally know the ponax coach, I commend him for the hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship shown by his team.
Klinemustgo, perhaps you should air your gripes with the athletic director or principal rather than taking your dislike of a coach out on deserving players.

As Kingjam stated, "this is a short section of their lives". None of us will ever get the opportunity to do it over so let's support our own players AND others' players. Let's leave our kids with great memories of playing high school ball not the sideline bickering..
