Courtland senior Ryan McBroom was named to the all-Region I baseball first team as both a pitcher and a first baseman by the region's coaches.
Other first-team choices from the Battlefield District included Eastern View second baseman Josh Gardner and Chancellor's Cameron Ayers (designated hitter) and Travis Frum (utility).
Poquoson swept the top individual honors, with Kyle Crockett winning player of the year and Kenneth Bennett coach of the year.
