The Maryland Baseball Academy is excited to announce this years “All-Skills” High School Winter Clinic. This comprehensive 8 week program focuses on baseball-specific skill development and prepares players for the upcoming high school baseball season. The clinic will focus on a variety of baseball skills including hitting, pitching, catching, fielding, throwing, and base-running.
The site for the clinic will be The Discovery Sports Center in Germantown, Md. This state-of-the-art indoor facility offers 46,000 square feet of arena flooring. The Discovery Sports Center will enable our clinic to teach a wide-range of skills and fundamentals essential to becoming a better ballplayer.
During the clinic, players will have their hitting and pitching mechanics analyzed using our cutting-edge video analysis system. The video analysis system is an effective training tool because players respond best to visual references before they can make the appropriate physical adjustments. Each player will also receive a CD-ROM with a voice-over analysis of their hitting and pitching mechanics.
