Here is a topic we can discuss all winter:

Name your All Star team--- starting nine for players retired and players now playing---two different team selections

AND also

If you had one pitcher to pitch a game that meant your life who would you select--retired and present day active ? Just name the pitcher you want on your side before the firing squad appears

This topic may get us thru the winter and into the 2005 baseball season

Been,

It would be difficult for anyone to construct a more fearsome and devastating lineup.

Plus - on the bench - I have Ed Kranepool, Ron Swoboda, Duffy Dyer, Cal Koonce and Don Cardwell - just to name a few more.

Coached by Gil Hodges and also my pick for best assistant coach ever - Joe Pignatano.

Honus Wagner - Mickey and Willie - Gibson and the rest of the Hall of Famers would shake in their boots if they ever had to face this squad.

Ya Gotta Believe!

Wink
