All-Tidewater 2012

Do they still play baseball at the Beach? There are more private school players (3) than Beach players (2) on the first team.

Yup, that's sportattorney for ya, in one fail swoop he can usually alienate half of the board and most of the kids. But please, go check out his "insightful" personal thread he was advertising months ago, giving you his "expert" take on teams and players, something that was obviously severly lacking beforehand.

Seven Beach players were on the second team in the paper today. Congrats to all the players who were honored on both teams.

I came across an interesting comment from a local area law firm's website. It appears as a one of the firm's guiding principles:

Last time I checked VB and the area's Private Schools are all part of the Hampton Roads Community.

Congrats to the Hampton Roads players who worked hard to receive recognition this year by the Pilot. The late Senator Spong would be proud.

Here is the list for All-Tidewater Second Team. I think its pretty impressive to be selected for these honors. Great job to both first team and second team players regardless of what type of school you played for. Your efforts did not go unnoticed. And thank you to all of the players in the Tidewater area for providing us "FANS" the chance to watch quality baseball from players who give the best. Cant waite for next Spring.
