Weak league or not it is still fun to see the Metsies doing as well as they are---it is great for baseball

Mets are 21 games over .500

They got Shamsky and Koosman coming back next week.

Seaver, Boswell and Al Weis may also be making some August appearances as well.

And Cleon said he will be there in early September. If Cleon comes back - Gentry has agreed to join him.

Basically - its over. Its a Mets world baby.
