The normal routine for our pitchers is :
DAY 1 - PITCH
DAY 2 - light upperbody workout
DAY 3 - Heavy lowerbody workout
DAY 4 - medium upperbody workout
DAY 5 - medium lowerbody workout

You need to lift lighter the day after you pitch to insure proper blood flow and recovery time . As a pitcher you will lighten the upperbody program during the season , but I have my pitchers continue to really push the lower half as we continue our goal for increased velocity .
