This article appeared in our local Press Democrat Newspaper. We can always learn from the professionals.

Last week a ML player called to thank me for the opportunities in the Area Code games and Goodwill Series event in Korea. The player is recognized as a leader on his Team.

He mentioned on the lesson he learned as a Rookie with the Twins from one of the famous Twins players.

Paul Molitor, the veteran, discussed the method to take the batting tunnel to the field.

"Turn" the batting helmet around look thru the ear holes at the pitcher before you go to bat [not during your AB].

This is "fine focusing" and teaches the ability to read the pitcher. Looking for the pitcher tipping his pitches.

Baseball should be "fun", enjoyable and learning experience of life.
