allright i am 15 years old and a freshmen pitcher. Most pitchers my age think throwing hard is a good thing (dont get me wrong it is). But it seems like if a pitcher throws two fastballs for 2 strikes (0-2 count) then his next pitch would be a fastball but thrown as hard as he can. I am the kind of pitcher who gets people out by slowing my pitch down. my fast ball is about 67 MPH and my curve ball is about 57 MPH and my change up about 55 MPH.
Will college scouts look for pitchers who have a nice curve ball that they can throw for strikes and a decent fastball or a pitcher with a 85 MPH fast ball that can be thrown for strikes and change up that goes in the dirt half the time?
