American Legions adjusts schedules

I heard from someone that the American Legion program in VA adjusted their schedules to play a "majority" of games during the week in order to reduce the competition with showcase teams (cross over players) that are unavailable on weekends. I cannot find anyone information on the Web. Anyone have any insights or details to support this?

Tentative schedule for local post has 10 weekend games and 12 weekday games.

Jr teams do, but mostly for field availability concerns
