Anyone else confused about how on July 4, Independence Day and the observation of the birth of our nation, ESPN chooses to broadcast tennis from England, and spotted kickball from Germany? I was so frustrated by these programming choices.

Yeah I'm frustrated. But I'm frustrated about a lot of things I see happening this summer. So I probably shouldn't get going on this.

Flip on ESPN, and you're just as likely to find Spelling Bees or Compeititive Eating as you are to find baseball.

I'm right there with you, dbg. I'm sick of the commie kickball ****. Why in the heck is a minor activity (in this nation, I'm not worried about the big sports in Ghana or Turkeylegamastan) taking up so much of the sports page?

ESPN should only broadcast sports. No spelling bees, poker, or dominose.

ya I complained about this on the 4th as well!!!

4th of july is usually my favorite day of the year.Its my sisters b-day.I usually can sleep in,watch ball games all day,grill out,then catch some fireworks

this year i watched hot dogs
