Hi, my name is CPLZ and I'm a college stichaholic.

Today, my team, the one I root for, is mired in 15 inches of new snow, unable to make its trip south to play, series cancelled.

I sit in front of my computer screen, two gametrackers on, side by side, and flipping to Rivals scoreboard and d1baseball.com to check on other games. My soon to be unused and non refundable airline ticket taunting me from my kitchen counter.

My fear, is that incessant watching of gametracker will cause my brain to turn to pablum, and the resultant frustration from having it lock up and then show 15 fast pitches in a row, will cause me to sit in some clocktower somewhere with a high powered rifle screaming, UPDATE THIS!

Thanks for listening, that's all I have to say for now...gametracker is still on.

(and can you believe that Jungmann hasn't given up a run in spite of 5 BB's and 3 hits including a double over 5 innings and Texas leads The Cardinal 1-0!)...sorry, I digress.

I downgraded my connection to a 9600 baud modem so gametracker feels like it's in charge and current.

Whats the baseball problem with GT? I don't think it's a gametracker problem, I think the problem originates in the pressbox. It's probably one student who has to watch the game and update at the same time and the data is transferred with two paper cups and a string to the internet

This is not brain surgery and the more complicated apps that CBSSports runs works fine, it has to be a delay issue that originates at the source.

Geez, we're all alike. I'm sitting here, watching the rain, having flown about 700 miles to watch rain from my hotel room. In between watching Olympics, reading a book, listening to husband snore, I have "watched" a friend's sons game, and am waiting for another game to start. We will hopefully really get to watch several games this week-end as the rain is supposed to stop(somewhat) tonight. I guess Gametracker is better than nothing?

Atleast we got to fly even if games don't go off as scheduled. Sorry CPLZ, know how much it hurts. Hopefully things will be back to more normal weather soon.
