No runners. BU in A. Batter hits deep shot to left. Umpire late in busting in and collides with batter/runner. Batter/runner coninues and is thrown out on a close play at second.

Out stands, umpire fired or at least demoted to a much slower level..

However, I would not be surprised to hear that current proffesional practice wouldn't somehow try and make it right, and pull out some 9.00 ruling.
