I see that Anderson now has a youth doublewall bat called the techzilla. I believe the bat is gaining popularity in fastpitch. I tried the slowpitch model and did not care for it at all. The barrel did not seem to have any spring to it.
Has anyone tried the new Techzilla? We currently use an F2 which works pretty well, but am not sure if that is simply due to the extra weight in the bat and maybe a power hitter model i.e. Havoc would be just as good and not feel like a log in your hands.

Any thoughts?

My son took his first swings with a techzilla this afternoon. We set up the basement for some soft-toss and tee work.

The ball really seemed to jump off this bat. He liked how it felt (at -9, it is a bit heavier than what he has been using for LL and about the same as he uses for travel (big barrel))

He noted that it sounded like he was connecting with a big barrel bat...

So far so good!

Thanks

Sorry, we can't compare, we have never seen the Dimarini....

One note that my son doesn't like.... the rather small 1 5/8 knob.. Though anderson does sell knob extenders (knob wrap)... whoch we will probably get soon.
